(implemented project)
Task: Cafe in Dnepropetrovsk
The total area: 160 sqm
Implementation: implemented
"Pastorale" cafe is situated in the new center and includes two spacious halls the main hall and children hall. Theare is atmosphere not too distant antiquity with amendment for modernity in both of this halls. A distinctive feature of the interior of the main hall (as well as recreation zones of the center) consists in brickwork peeled from the plaster and made from so-called Catherinea brick, which is now "at the service of" a modern design. Under such solution interior acquires the exterior features, to which a lot of marble and round tables also contributes, which at the good old days were exhibited on sidewalk to the cafe adjacent. By the way, sidewalks were often made of wood, as you remember looking at the floor consisting from the closest in color masonry deck boards with rhythmic rows of luminous spots. In the same context white fabric ceiling is perceived associated directly with sun canopy façade. At the same time stretch glossy inserts make the space visually above and glass doors extend the perspective.
Metal decorative elements made with help of plasma cutting method are mounted in the free openings located opposite to the windows in the wall. The children hall interior sustained in the Provencal-style saturates much more by ornament, in the color scheme used bright milk and white shades. Floor of this hall is covered with whitewashed wooden plaque with the patina, the walls are finished by wallpaper decorated with floral images, and the end of the hall is decorated as a theater stage with a throne on it. The ceiling of this hall implemented as fabric ceiling with inserts of different tissues, in contrast to the main hall, they have a floral design. Entrance area style closes to the classical one, although it does not follow classic to the letter. The brickwork in this hall is punctuated by pilasters with stylized capitals and fluted, and the ceilings are decorated with large rosettes with artistic painting. They are divided by rectangular mirror tinted glass inserts, giving the interior a contemporary appearence. Although you never know - maybe something that today seems like a modern, tomorrow will depart in the area of historical curiosities, with which later someone will gently scrape spiderweb of time.
